Wakely Lodge Golf Course first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Richard Fletcher.
Wakely Lodge Golf Course is nestled in the middle of the Adirondack Park and is surrounded by mountains. This is a place where golfing and nature blend seamlessly. The fairways are relaxing to walk down, but are challenging to play, and the greens are well manicured. The course frequently requires shots over a mountain brook. An added bonus is the wildlife that frequently roam the course.

Tried to play here last Saturday on our annual golf visit to Indian Lake only to find the course closed with no real indication that they're planning to re-open anytime soon. Signage, carts, and greens are all gone. Look elsewhere.
